The Bogwitch of Baltimore is a folk magic practitioner who believes in the magic inherent to all of Creation. She has lived between the Appalachian Mountains and the Chesapeake Bay all her life, and grew up singing to the water and talking to the crows and the crawdads, certain they could understand her. As a result, her practice and materials reflect a melding of the many magical tradition influences that can be found in the region, and she values authenticity over showmanship.

All Bogwitch Botanicals ritual formulae are ritually prepared using real essential oils, herbs, minerals, and other materials with careful attention to the traditions from which they are derived. Because she also believes in reciprocity and payment for things borrowed, a portion of proceeds from externally-derived formulae is donated to nonprofits that help the communities from whom she has learned.
